The kids have learned to leave audio or video messages through my Whatsapp for their Dad who travels a fair bit for work and unreachable most of the time because of different working hours on work trips. Their cute little voices and mundane but endearing messages give their Dad much joy and entertainment whenever he’s away from home.
Mommy here, on the other hand, doesn’t get such messages because they get to see me every day. It doesn’t look like handwritten cards are coming any time soon from their progress in writing, so I thought they can use their favourite way of leaving messages – video or audio recording to share what they appreciate about their Mommy me!
From my firstborn:
Turns out he likes Mommy because I’m also the 阿婶 who does everything for him!
From my littlest one:
She’s really the sweetest when she’s in her pretty moods.
To my two beautiful and super-cheeky kids, thank you for giving me the reason to celebrate my Mother’s Day with you. I’m eternally grateful to be blessed with both of you who brought so much happiness and meaning to my life. (Not to mention the crazy days and stress of trying to bring you guys up properly!) Words cannot express how much LOVE I have for the two of you, so expect more hugs and kisses coming your way!
