Took a 10-days break from work but I would hardly call it a break. In fact, it was more tiring than working in many ways. During this period, I became a solo-parenting SAHM again as my parents went on a holiday and my husband was away for work. The lil’ dragonlady and I were down with the whole flu works, so I kept her at home and spent quite a bit of one-to-one time with her which was nice..most of the time!
We saw the doctors’, went for school runs and even threw a little celebration for the cub’s teacher’s birthday together!
She kept Mommy company for breakfast, supermarket run and we even checked out Phoon Huat together.
bad challenging moments, obviously.
But thankgod, there were pretty good and funny times too!
And I added a little milestone by bringing the kids for a movie all by myself! We even managed to clock in some shopping before we went home. I was really proud of my babies. Before we left the house, I told them it’s not easy for Mommy to bring them out on my own so I would need them to cooperate with me and stay close to me. The whole time we were out, they made sure to hold my hands whenever possible and kept going, “Mommy, hold my hand!” Sweetest.
