We went for the preview of a merry-not-scary kids event yesterday and saw River Safari in a different light (quite literally since it’s from 6-9pm)!
River Safari’s inaugural Safari Boo !
Checking out the animals and Halloween decorations along the way
As part of the Safari Boo festivities, the River Safari came up with a special animal presentation – “River Talk: Myths and Legends”. Visitors get to have up-close encounters with the animals.
We got to touch a pygmy hedgehog!
Visitors can explore different interactive discovery stations where the kids get to play archaeologist and uncover animal bones, scrutinize bat skulls, feel the scales of animals such as the pangolin and snake, etc.
Kai Kai and Jia Jia came to say “Hi!”
The kids got to meet many mythical characters along The Enchanted Trail – Eco-Fairy, Sandman, Mermaid, etc. I must say, I was really impressed by the effort from all the characters!
Safari Boo is River Safari’s first trick-or-treat event, so don’t miss this opportunity to experience the park in a different way!
Safari Boo festivities will take place between 6-9pm on the following days – 22, 25, 26 Oct and 1, 2 Nov. Kids aged 12 years and below enjoy free admission from 6pm and are encouraged to dress up for this merry-not-scary event to stand a chance to win in a costume contest.
