Starting 1st June 2014, Swensen’s came up with a new “Underwater Adventure Kid’s Meal”. For just $9.90, this new kids-only meal comes with a drink (orange/apple juice/soft drink) and a side of corn-in-cup. Top up $2.90 for a Treasure Chest sundae or a Coit Tower Junior if you would like to throw in a treat for the kids!
We were pleasantly surprised when the lil’ dragonlady looked through the new kids’ menu and told us she wanted the spaghetti item and actually fed herself a decent portion! I nearly shed tears of joy in the restaurant because it is such a challenge (read: PAIN) to get her to eat.
The cub chose the Fish ‘N’ Chippies item to our delight, so the husb and I could pinch some off the nifty yellow SubmaRay which the kids can bring back if it’s not to dirty by the time they finish their meal!
The new Underwater Adventure Kid’s Meal is great value for money, if you ask me. Especially when the kids love the food and us adults have plenty of choices on the regular menu. Good news is this kid’s menu will be permanently available at Swensen’s!
Note: we were invited by Swensen’s for a media tasting to try out the new kids’ menu.
