(first started writing on the night of the lil’ dragonlady’s birthday)
You turn two today, my littlest one. I can’t quite catch up with how quickly you are growing up!
You are hitting developmental milestones much quicker, which is hardly surprising when you have to hang around three older kids all the time. Your teachers are impressed with how well you speak for your age and how much you understand what they say to you. Every day you amuse us with something new you picked up. I may not track your milestones as diligently as I did with your brother but I’m just as proud of you whenever I noticed your little achievements!
You are one feisty dragonlady. Sometimes 我不得不承认吃不消 with you! When it comes to throwing tantrums, your stamina is really mou-dak-deng (没得顶)! Yet I can’t fault you for your stubborn streak since it’s obviously from me. Mommy guilt has made me feel that you’re tougher to manage because I didn’t get to spend as much one-to-one time with you as I did with your brother when I stayed at home with him for almost 10 months. Doesn’t help that you are more attached to the gramps and makes it more challenging for us whenever we bring you out too. In light of this, I’m hoping to make some changes to our schedules so that we get to spend more time with you!
Happy turning two, my littlest one! Mommy loves you much more than you know.
