The cub and I went to our first cooking workshop hosted by NESTLÉ KOKO KRUNCH® last Saturday morning. The cub was of course, pleased as a punch and was snacking on KOKO KRUNCH throughout our time there!
Now, before any one cringe at our choice of breakfast, I would like to share that KOKO KRUNCH has just been awarded with the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) by Health Promotion Board (HPB). And what does HCS mean? Products carrying the HCS are lower in total fat, saturated fat, sodium and sugar. Some are also higher in dietary fibre and calcium compared to similar products within the same food category.

To be honest, the only way I know how to eat cereals is with milk. So I was pretty excited to see how KOKO KRUNCH can be used as a cooking ingredients!
We learned two simple recipes from this workshop!
Cooking together is such a lovely way to bond together with the kiddo.
One of the two recipes: Toasted sandwich with ham, cheese and (crushed) KOKO KRUNCH!
The KOKO KRUNCH is such a nice touch to our usual ham+cheese sandwich!
Clearly, the KOKO KRUNCH cereal was much more well-received to some than KOKO KRUNCH himself. 😉
P.S. sorry we didn’t get to take pictures of the other recipe – Healthy Chicken Nuggets in crusted NESTLÉ KOKO KRUNCH, cos we got distracted by food and catch-ups with the other moms.
