This is probably the most photo-intensive post from the trip and it’s not hard to see why since we were headed for Mount Pilatus today.
Uploaded this pic to show that it’s not just Singaporeans who are kiasu! 😉
Charming his 姨婆s and some fellow passengers en route to Mt Pilatus
Breathtaking views every where we looked
While queuing for the the world’s steepest cogwheel railway, we took in sufficient Vitamin D to last us till 2014.
We met some Swiss cows along the way up to the mountain.
But I was even more surprised to see people actually trekking up to the mountain, ‘cos it’s really very steep!
With my brother
I bet the husb was telling the cub how slow his mommy was.
(That’s our cousin’s boyfriend carrying our stroller up the top of the mountain! Gotta love men who work out. 😉 )
Top of a peak
Making our way down
Restaurant with a SPECTACULAR view – pity we didn’t get to try as it was a full house + long queue!
While the rest of the entourage went climbing more peaks, we sat ourselves down and rested with the cub. No joke climbing mountains with a toddler. Quite relieved I didn’t insist on bringing along Teanne.
The package we bought included the cruise tickets, cable car tickets and some food vouchers. Together with our packed fruits, we had a picnic on the mountain.
I thought the cub would do his usual “scared, I’m scared” thing when we took the cable car but he surprised us by enjoying the ride – standing up to get a better view, looking out for cows, and making himself comfy on the seat so that he can enjoy the scenery.
A train ride to wrap up Switzerland as we make our way to the airport.
And leave for London!
