For my littlest one, I had a few party themes in mind but eventually decided on Sweet Treats Party because of one of her nicks. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned how Teanne got her name 甜甜 from the gramps but the long story short is try calling out Teanne twice very quickly as if you are beckoning your kid (or pet!) to come over. There, you get 甜甜! Color theme was pink and brown / polka dots. I tried avoiding the pink but it was just easier to get supplies for pink.
I was excited as the theme gave me an opportunity to try something slightly different from the usual caterers who tend to give tons of staple that we cannot finish. I’ve always enjoyed the fruit tarts from Delifrance and decided that this is when I can finally order from them! Besides the fruit tarts, we ordered canapes, quiche, french pastries and some sandwiches as well. All mini size which works very well with kids!
Rented chocolate fondue from Party with Eva. This was quite a hit with the kids..and adults!
We can’t do a Sweet Treats Party without ice cream. Here’s ice cream from Scoopy’s and Cream. They come together with an ice-cream man, who helped to give out the scoops.
Cupcakes from Happy Cake Studio! The little sweet treats cupcake toppers were too adorable!
Strawberry and chocolate Pocky sticks to match with the color theme of the party.
Sweet treats chocolate (with mini longevity buns + red eggs ‘cos it was 甜甜’s lunar birthday on celebration day)
This has got to be my favourite purchase for this party – the beverage glass dispenser! Thanks to Pam who shared where to buy this.
Sweet Treats’ beverage – Ribena
Sweet Treats’ beverage in matching color theme – strawberry and chocolate milk.
Glass bottles from Daiso!
Here is the buffet line we put together. Not too bad a first attempt!
