My kids were too young to appreciate Children’s Season 2012 last year. I promised to bring them for Children’s Season 2013 after seeing all the fun photos and posts updates on my feeds. And I’m glad the first impression wasn’t too bad!
I heard nice feedback about the one from Singapore Art Museum and decided to head there for our first stop.
The Enchanted Garden was a huge hit with Thaddeus. He absolutely loved the rainbow bridge and was clearly enjoying himself running up and down the bridge and under the bridge, and basically all over the place.
We met Debra and family (again)! 🙂
Although he seems a tad young to appreciate the whimsical looking objects in this room, Around the Day in 80 Worlds was quite fun for my 2yo as he got to throw hoops and did some coloring. Even my almost-1yo get to participate!
I didn’t manage to get any pictures of the other places – Stellar Cave was too dark and “scary” for my cub. He promptly walked out of the room before I could get a good look around the place!
Glossy Dreams in Depths was indeed peculiar. The cub didn’t quite take to it and freaked out with the swiveling into another room. I, on the other hand, have never been a fan of 3D. Strains my eyes too much!
A nice lady from SAM brought us to use the elevator upon seeing how freaked out the cub was and walked us back to the reception area. I was definitely impressed.
Now to check out what other museums we should bring the kids to!
