This kinda sums up my 2012 – all about my two babies.
My folks gave us tremendous help by caring and looking after my children. Not only did they help us save on the (very high) costs of infant care, they gave us peace of mind while we are at work knowing our babies are cared for by family.
My younger brothers chipped in their help whenever required too. Seriously, I don’t know how my folks used to handle us 3 children. Just two of my own requires an army of help!
Because time is a very precious commodity now, I am glad that it has helped made time spent with friends more qualitative than quantitative. And it’s always a bonus to know that most, if not all our friends are very accommodating towards our schedules with kids.
For someone who didn’t think he wanted kids, I must say the husb is taking to his role of Dad-of-two very well. Our son ADORES him and he’s trying to win his daughter over too.
We didn’t get to do any traveling with just each other in 2012. Hopefully we can do it for 2013 and get stuff for our home!
Our home is believed to be ready in 2013I I’m so very excited at the thought of having our own place. I must say though, I will definitely miss staying at my folks’ place because of the convenience and the kids have so much space to run about!
I will skip setting resolutions for 2013. Instead, I will have resolutions that I want to keep for life.
Be happy. Be healthy. Be someone I want to spend time with.
