We went to the zoo again! This time round, we got my nephew and niece to join us. Thaddeus was thrilled to have his favourite gorgor out with him!
A giraffe mascot was moving around to say “Hi” to the visitors and I was waiting to see if Thaddeus would freak out. Haha! I was pleasantly surprised that he did not and even dared to touch the mascot.
We rushed to bring the kids for the sea lion’s show. My son now knows how to watch performances, which means we have more activities to bring him to now. Yay!
Teanne is obviously too young to appreciate the shows now and got startled a few times with the loud sounds. But she was a good sport and sat through the performance.

We foresee ourselves going to the zoo every now and then since it’s nearby so we only checked out the animals that are along the way to the water playground.
The moment the kiddos had been waiting for finally arrived when we got to the water playground. The boys went wild playing with water, which was good because one of my intentions to bring Thaddeus for outings is to tire him out enough for long afternoon naps. 😉
It started to pour as soon as we were done with the kids’ baths. We were stuck at the playground for awhile before we managed to find a way to shelter the kids to the store where we could get ponchos.

Putting away the paranoia in me, it was actually quite nice to let the kids experience raindrops falling on them.
Till the next zoo outing!
