I had thoughts of getting tickets to watch ‘Disney on Ice’ when I saw the ad on TV but decided against it because I felt that Thaddeus may be too young to appreciate it.
Thanks to a friend who gifted us with free tickets, we eventually got to bring our beloved firstborn to his first kiddo show!
The show started promptly at 10am and we arrived just in time to sit ourselves down. We made a mental note to be punctual for all kids’ shows. Our baby boy was so excited when the characters came out and he clapped whenever the other kids did too. TOO CUTE. He looked so happy that the husb and I have thoughts of bringing him to Disneyland!
20 minutes into the show, the baby cub struggled to keep his eyes open. Despite his best efforts, he started snoozing in his Daddy’s arms soon enough. The husb and I were amused and quite glad that our tickets were free when the cub looked like he was going to nap for a long time.
Surprisingly, Thaddeus woke up from his nap early and was pleased to continue watching the performance. Every time he hears music, he would smile and start shaking his body as if he’s dancing. Hence, you can imagine how happy he was to watch the characters dancing to the music!
Parenting is indeed interesting. What joy we experience when we see our child(ren) having a good time!
