Thaddeus probably won’t remember much from his first birthday party, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting to give him a nice celebration. Our priority for the party was to make it fun for him and the other kids. ‘Cos when the kids are happy, the adults are happy. RIGHT?To avoid any grumpiness and meltdown due to insufficient rest, my mum helped to put Thaddeus down for a nap at about 10am so that he can be ready for the party that starts at 12pm. That worked pretty well because he didn’t fuss at all. In fact, we could even leave him on his own with some toys, the other kids and he would not look for us anxiously! So proud of my baby! He was having fun and enjoying himself. 🙂
To us, that was exactly what we wanted for his party.
