Since the last update. some mums have shared with me that M&M is moving less often now due to lack of space inside. This made me feel somewhat more reassured. It also helps that he gave me more nudges and hiccups after the post too. 🙂
I’ve always wondered how people can tell if a pregnant woman is carrying a boy or a girl. What is round and what is pointed? How can a tummy look sharp? In my second trimester, many guessed I am having a boy. I thought my tummy simply looked round which didn’t have much tell-tale signs. Then for the last few weeks, people started guessing I’m having a girl because my tummy looked huge and round. Gotta admit that worried me a lil’! After all, I’m very convinced I’m having a boy by now. But yesterday, my tummy suddenly looked very pointy to me! Even the husb thought so.
With that coming true..it means the one thing I’ve been dreading ever since I know I’m having a boy may be coming true soon too – my nose! Eeps.
Pregnancy Symptoms from WTE:
Shortness of breath? Checked. No joke having to climb up and down the stairs with a bad back, heavy tummy and squashed lungs every single day just to get to your bedroom.
More frequent urination? Checked. Subconsiously, I think I avoided drinking too much water cos I can’t keep going to the washroom at work. Very bad mommy. I do try to make it up by loading up on the H20 when I get home but I can’t drink too much just before bedtime to avoid swelling in my feet and bladder overload.
Occasional headaches? With my experience in managing migraine, this is nothing.
Varicose veins? Checked. The husb and I are very taken aback at how badly bruised the veins look.
Possible nasal congestion? I wonder if I pant much more because of this or the shortness of breath.
Lower abdominal achiness? It’s not just the lower abs that is aching. It’s aching all the way to down under with the growing pressure.
Backaches? As usual. Just gotta manage the pain.
Increasing clumsiness? Checked. I’ve always been a klutz, so it simply means I just gotta look out for myself more.
Forgetfulness? CHECKED!! My memory was terrible to begin with. So with the shrinking brain-cell volume, I rely on my BB a lot more!
Difficulty sleeping? Not quite, because I’m very tired out by bedtime. But I do have difficulty staying asleep!
Every night before sleep, I place 5 pillows and 1 bolster in their respective positions to support my neck, tummy, feet and arms when I lie on my side. However, I am unable to sleep in one position throughout the night. I would lie on my back as well but this position doesn’t last more than 10 minutes now because I can’t breathe soon enough. Then I need to shift my pillows and bolster when I turn to lie on my other side.
Then I would usually wake up around 6am for my toilet visit, despite clearing my bladder just before sleep. So you see, I am very busy during sleep.
