Finally, we got to see M&M again at the gynae’s! No picture of scan this time, but we’ll get a CD of the scans after the whole thing. Scrapbooking time then!
M&M was moving around a fair bit during the check and it took awhile to get his measurements. Again, I’m glad to know that the gender remains at boy now. Really, we can only be 100% sure when baby’s out. 🙂
He’s now very much shaped like a baby – with eyes, nose, chin, little hands with fingers, little feet with toes, etc. It’s great seeing how he’s growing and filling up the space inside.
These days, I do feel more obvious movements from M&M. I will place my hands on my tummy and watch them move as M&M nudges here and there. It’s such a cute experience! He’s more active in the day than in the night, which I hope will be his habit when he’s out too.
The husb doesn’t get to feel much of the action because of the lesser movements at night. To add to that, M&M moves even lesser when the husb’s hand is on my tummy! It’s as if he thinks this is the disciplinary hand. Sure reminds me of the time we did the OSCAR and M&M quietened down instead of becoming excited with Daddy’s presence. Guess the husb will need to talk more to M&M to get him familiarized with Daddy. 😉
We signed up for Mrs Wong’s prenatal classes at TMC, at the recommendation of some friends. Mt. Alvernia’s classes end kinda too near my EDD, so we’ll just have to arrange for the hospital tour separately.
As first-time parents, I think we’re considered quite laid-back. Besides the ON stuff I bought for M&M earlier, we have not bought anything else! We did do some research with the help and advice of the mummy-friends I have, especially on strollers. But it seems too early to decide on exactly what we want. Perhaps, we’ll just get some necessities during the year-end sales and see how things go after M&M’s arrival!
